As long as there is some air flow I suggest benign neglect. A few worms will turn into tons of worms over time as long as they have food. Add paper/bedding and leave them alone. If you have a system that catches the leachate, pour it off, and pour it often. That's likely to be your biggest enemy, standing water or - worse - standing leachate. It is one of the foulest smells there is.

Don't feed, just wait :) the worms will recover.

I agree with Patrick. If I recall your first post correctly, flowerchild, it sounds like your bin may have been too wet right from the start. Upload a photo or video online and post a link to it here. That will help us troubleshoot your bin. Meanwhile, drying the bin out a bit and then leaving it completely alone for a few weeks should help it recover.

Before buying more worms, also do a search of the worm seller. There are some who are infamous for either shipping few worms or shipping a mix of worm species. P. excavatus (blues) don't settle into worm bins easily and special measures need to be taken with them. They are faster than E. fetida (red wigglers) and have a distinctive purple/blue head. Their clitellum is also flush with their body. They are a great composting worm under the proper conditions, but they are prone to mass escapes...especially in newer bins. I don't know if this is what you experienced, but it's definitely something to avoid.
