I use 1 cup of castings to a gallon of water. Mix well and let sit overnight. Mix again and water plants in the morning. As far as the leachate, I use full strength on my terrestrial garden, and 50/50 diluted for indoor/potted plants.

I just go by color. I mix the castings with water and use it right away. I start with the castings in a five gallon bucket and stir well, then scoop some into a watering can and fill with more water. When I apply it, it's the color of iced tea.

5 gallon tea recipe

1 cup of fresh worm castings in a woman's stocking as a tea bag.
5 Tbs of blackstrap molasses.

Air pump with air stone.

24 hour brew in summer, a bit longer in winter so you get the "foam" on top.

You can dilute or go full strength.

5 gallon bucket.

Nearly 5 gallons of non-chlorinated water.

Several cups of fresh worm castings added to the water and mixed in.

5 - 10 Tbs of unsulfered molasses(depending upon the brew time).

Air pump with air stone.

Brew with aquarium air stone for 24 to 36 hours.

I mix the brew a few times with a big stick during brewing.

If used as a spray you should strain before adding to the sprayer.

I always use full strength.

The muddy stuff near the bottom can be used as a top dressing for potted plants. Or it can be used as a desert for your worms.

I do nearly the exact same as vermiman. I just use less molasses. 2 tablespoons seems to do the trick.
