Well, only you can see the plant you have and it may be another Polygonum species. But whether or not you agree with the id of P convolvulus, I'm 100% certain it isn't P aubertii aka P baldschuanicum.

I agree with floral. To my mind, no question that it is Polygonum convolvulus.

i have exactly the same trouble, though it's worsened with the fact that i live in swiitzerland - they donot sell the P.A. plants here (not even somethig as simple as Matthiola Bicornis, mind you). Any advice? Maybe theres a reliable retailer ye know?

Another strange thing is that diantus is proclaimed annual in many shops. These are the ones planted from a good firm's seeds from the Kingdom (kingsseeds), and this happened more than a year ago. They bloomed the last summer and here they go - strictly kept outdoor

It seems like there is some distortion in seeds' database, and it spils over.
