Which vine seedlings can be pinched back?

I apologize if my question is redundant, but my search of the site kept coming up "web page is unavailable or moved". Anyway I have started a lot of seeds in my basement for several types of vines and they are now climbing up the lights and wrapping around the light chains and each other. What I would like to know is which ones can be pinched back without affecting bloom time or outcome of their survival?

I have Moon Vine, Cardinal Climber, Cypress Vine, Hyacinth Bean and Mina Lobata commonly called Spanish Flag, also some Morning Glories.

I have done this for the last several years and it has been a large tangled mess to unwind, but to me it was well worth it since I now have the Hummingbirds coming that I love so much.

I would be very grateful for any information on any of these vines because I have a disability now and can't do things the way I used to.( I use to let them grow up 3' poles) and now I would be hardpressed to even get them out of my short basement!

Moonvine - Ipomoea alba or perhaps I.turbinata
Cardinal Climber - Ipomoea sloteri
Cypress Vine - Ipomoea quamoclit
Mina Lobata - This was changed to Ipomoea lobata many years ago , but marketers insist on using it
Morning Glories - I.nil,I.purpurea, I.tricolor and others

These can all be pinched back to some degree depending on how long the vines are now and how much sun they are able to get...

I'd say you can pinch back any vines over 1 foot back to 6 inches...anything over a foot long can be pinched back to 1 foot...

P.S. - Try to get them somebody to help you to get the plants outside asap...it should be warm enough now or very soon (!)...

Ron, Thanks so much for your input. It's good to know that I can pinch them back without any negative effects. It will make them easier to move out of the basement if they're shorter.
I was also able to do the search on this site today so I also gleaned a little information from that too. For some reason I couldn't get the webpage friday!
I usually wait until after May 15th to plant them out because it's supposed to be our average last frost date! As soon as I can, out they will go! Can't hardly wait for blooms. The hummingbirds love the cardinal flowers and mina lobata and I in turn love the hummingbirds!
