I don't have much experience growing this one. It may do ok if pruned back...will it make new vines from roots or off the stem, I wonder? Have you searched the internet yet? If so, what did you learn?

They seem to be surviving the pruning pretty well, I cut half off or more, leaving 2 to 3 feet, then hit them with some Miracle grow. They are sprouting new leaders from the vines and even saw one from the roots.

I bought them cheap, marked down. Guess that is why!

It's great to get plants on clearance that can still thrive (especially when they look good but just lost some flowers, you know it's still in good condition).

I brought my mother two for $10.00. Marked down from Lowes, she loves them. Do they return each year?

I overwintered a couple here by putting them in the garage for the winter. They died back to the roots though, so they had to sprout out from the ground and that puts them 4 to 6 weeks or more behind the greenhouse raised ones you buy.
