I have been very busy this week so far,, we knew that some more worms was on the way. shipped friday last week was suppose to be here in 3 to 5 business day's. They showed up monday morning,,, yes that's 2 count them 2 business day's the way i count. and i don't think friday should have counted,, well bins was not ready i thought i had sunday and monday to get them done.

Bins are done started 3 weeks ago with 2-18 gallon containers, now we have 5-18 gallon containers, how's that for doubling your fun in a few weeks.

Well today i made some worm chow (chow sounds better then slop) just chopped up some potato & cucumber peels, some zucchini from the freezer(last years) scrapes of tomato, old lettuce, canned carrots,

and left over canned spin-age, added about 2 tablespoons of ground eggs shells microwaved it for about 5 min's then let it cool off to room temp..

added to top of bins and wow they like it. two hours later there are a lot of worms all around it.

At least i think we have a local store that is going to help with produce for us and friends from our local farmers market is going to save old produce and tops off beets etc.

Still have a question,, our worms are very skinny and still small, these are ENC's (bait size) we are hoping they will fatten up and grow. So if we use some chicken mash will that help them grow faster and make then fat and sassy?
