I bought one of these at Lowes today on a whim, and when I got home and did some reading on it, I realized I need to have a male and a female plant to produce fruit. What I *can't* find is how to tell the difference! Is there a way to tell whether they're male or female when they're still very small and without fruit or flowers?

No quick way that I know of, If you see any hint of white or pink on the leaves it's a male (bright coloring). It takes a couple of years for them to reach full color but only the male gets the color from what I've read.

At Lowe's today, I saw Arctic Kiwis for sale. Each pot had a male and a female plant, so they should produce fruit. My question is whether it will do well in North Florida, zone 8B?
