I have been visiting a couple of forums about raising worms
and am so confused,, ok so do we need to water our inside bins or not,, i do check them before adding water by moving back bedding and looking at the bottom of the bins and if the castings are dry and or the bedding is drying out i add water,
Now i am told that we shouldn't have to add water to them inside just food, and the food would decompose and that would be enough water, so what is the right way to go with these, they are ENC's and i thought they needed more water then red's or other worms,
Please tell me if we are right or wrong.

they won't need more, but they do need to be constantly quite moist - water if/as necessary

For me watering the bins is determined by the weather outside, and what I'm putting in the bins.

During our 6-month dry season and especially if I'm adding drier scraps (potatoes, broccoli), our bins can dry out, thus needing water. However during the wet season and if I use wetter scraps (watermelon, tomatoes) my bins will get too wet, so I have to check drainage and add something to soak up the extra moisture.

So it's going to 'depend'.
