When I did a harvest the other day in separating the worms of which Im guessing maybe 200 worms give or take a thousand. I forgot and left them in my garage overnight gets pretty hot out there lately 90+ so the next day when I remember I forgot, Im thinking oh boy this is really gonna stink. Surprisingly they all seemed alive, hard to believe. But I didnt have a cover on it so they did get some air even if very hot air.
