I have mushrooms sprouting INSIDE my FT and I've never even thought they might be poisonous. Would they be?
I pulled them out, broke up in smaller pieces and threw them back in.

Even if they are I kind of doubt they'll be poisonous to worms in the same way as humans. They'll probably just break down like anything else in the bin.

But why bother picking them for the bin? Do you need extra stuff to feed the worms? I guess I would just not bother and let nature handle them but I doubt it would hurt the worms.

I think the worms would like them. Sort of like a pumpkin out for the garbage. Hard to walk by it.

Mushrooms so have a place in the bin.

Some feed their bins spent mushroom grow media.
