Hi dirtslinger! I'm kinda in the same boat. Central Florida. I was given 10 Hyacinth vine seeds which are growing way faster than they should (I potted them in a rich potting soil) and now they are almost ready to transplant but I am terrified to put them in the ground. My soil is extremely sandy and I'm worried about what will happen when the roots reach the sand. If I'm successful I will surely let you know! Hyacinth vines are beautiful and from what I've read, you can take the seeds from the pods and throw them on the ground and they will grow.
