Hi Andrea, I jumped over to this forum this evening in the hopes of posting a "wanted" for Boston Ivy as I haven't had any responses on the plant exchange. First...from what I understand, Boston Ivy is alot gentler than english ivy. Without seeing where your ivy is growing you might want to consider moisture issues? Second, in my limited experience it doesn't seem to be all that difficult to remove...not like some vines that will take stucco with it when it's removed. Just a few things to consider when you have it growing on a structure.....but I'm sure you have already thought of that. And third...if you are interested in a plant trade please email. Don't have any hostas to offer but do have lots of Strawberry & Cream Ribbon Grass.
