I was cleaning my daughter's craft area today and have lots and lots of old coloring pictures, drawings, and paintings. She is only 3, so of course all of the stuff is non-toxic stuff, and my real question is, Will crayons, water paints, and pen ink and pencil lead be ok shredded up and placed in worm bin as bedding or just placed in the compost? The only thing I am really worried about is the lead, but may have heard somewhere that it is really carbon, not lead...not too sure though??? I guess I really never thought about all of that stuff, but I would rather use it this way instead of just throwing it in the trash....thanks for any info...
