We have a Wisteria that grew as a "tree" for about 10 years and we started training it onto an arbor my husband made a few years ago. We have been fortunate as it's blooms in early summer have been fabulous! Now that the blooming is done, the "suckers" are really growing like crazy! Is now an OK time to prune things back? I certainly wouldn't want to kill this beautiful vine.
