They need alot of sun and heat to get moving and until recently, the Northeast and Midatlantic have had little of that. When you bought yours last year, it was obviously flowering at the nursery because it was greenhouse grown under artificial conditions to enhance sales. On average, I have found that after overwintering and putting outside usually around Memorial Day, mine will be flowering by August and sometimes earlier if we have a warm spring and it had initiated new growth inside before I put it outside.

There's really not much you can do but hope it wakes up with the warmer weather.
