In a sunny neglected area, I have a vine growing prolifically along the ground. The leaves are serrated and look like clematis with a dark wine tint. No flowers or pods.

Is this a famously invasive weed I should banish from the yard, or a self-sown clematis I should nurture and elevate? Best guess?
