Looking to set up a wire lattice on this westernly facing wall here in houston, zone 9a. It's hot and humid here with some minor frost some winters.

Question: which species then? I want a type that
-wraps around things not little stickers.
-Will stay green all year in my conditions
-will not be so avasive it will climb past my wiring and go onto my roof.
-flowers plus but not mandatory
-easy to care for and grow in slightly claylike soil.
-can put up with some frost in winter but also 100deg F days in summer.

What are my options?
