Hey everyone,

First post here but hoping everyone can help.

I'm in search of a true red campsis radicans trumpet vine, I believe is called flamenco. I know there are mixed results and feelings with this vine but they are one of the hardy plants here in the desert southwest with our poor soil.

Anyways, I germinated several dozen seeds (actually about 100 or so) of both "normal orange" or what I believe is the wild phenotype and some "flava" which is the yellow one. Im going to build some steel wire trellis to bolt to our cinder block fencing that the homes here have that remind me of living in a prison yard. I figure its spreading nature and ability to live in play sand type soil will give me green to look at.

So the bottom of the barrel to this novel of a post is that I would love to find the most red cultivar possible to mix with my other two cultivars.

Can anyone tell me where to find this? I would be so upset to buy something that turned out to be the orange I got for free.
