Oh, I wish I some too. My dad used to bring them down from the mountains in SE Oklahoma. he did the roots, my mom did the cuttings. True mountain Muscadines.....nothing like them!

I have read that softwood green cuttings do fine from muscadines. I took some softwood cuttings from a couple of my vinifera (grapes are grapes) and out of 8 cuttings, two took and are growing nicely just in the ground. Some I rooted in water and am hardening them off in pots. Those are doing fine too. I stripped most of the leaves off, and left the top leaf, but I cut it in half. The ones I rooted in the ground were also dipped in rooting hormone and kept damp and in the shade.
