I'm looking forward the next lesson !

Although now considered a very weird lady to put it politely, because I love so much my compost and my worms that I don't care much when plants die because I'm enthusiastic with their corpses for my pets ;-) Whatever. As my bin is on the ground, and also I put some worms in my vegetables beds, and also put much organic matter around the garden, I now find worms everywhere whereas some 10 months ago when I moved in, it was only hard clay with some bermuda grass.

I do wonder, well wonder at how great nature is, and wonder whether those worms are the descendants of those I bought.

Man, I read this and I came into worm composting without starting from the beginning and it's sometimes been hard to catch up with all these people who have been in it a long time being way ahead.

I'll be reading the next ones you post and I'm going back into the old posts to get more.

10 gal bin
pound of worms
cup of vegie scraps
bedding below and above
monitor closely

I was going to refer Barbararose to these EXCELLENT threads chuckiebtoo wrote. I thought these posts would be an excellent link in a sticky, What a great series that was deleted.

I came along just after these were killed apparently because when I first went to read them I found empty threads. Kind of had a little of all that wonder Francoise so sweetly wrote about then went on to find other reading.
