My worms and hurricane Rita

Hi ya'll,

Would you believe I have had my worms less than a week and we had to evacuate. The bin was pretty moist, though not wet enough that I could squeeze water out of bedding, they were still working on the two pockets of food I gave them when we left Wednesday early AM.

Considering they are in my garage, if it withstands the hurricane, do you think the worms can manage without food for a week?

I am sad - was getting to enjoy the little guys.
