That's beautiful. I'm hoping my fresh blue silk seeds look like that this year too.

After a couple of years of blue blooms, they all turned to "lavender silk". I didn't sow those this year though.

Mine have always been quite large as well, between 4-6 inches.

That is an awesome flower, Ruth! I did not grow Blue Silk this year and am kicking myself. It will return next year for certain.

That is a beautiful flower.The two plants i grew from seed(gerris2)both have for some reason died off so i wont get any.

I have never seen flowers that size. Of course I am zone 6. Does that mean your MG continues to grow. It doesn't die like mine. I can't believe you can have these plants growing 12 months a year.

We usually get our first frost around the end of November.
Some of the Morning glories continue to bloom until then.
I don't try to overwinter my morning glories.
I start them from seeds in late March or April.
