question about trying to save jasmine vine!

I have a jasmine vine thats planted far away from the house, the grasshoppers have ate ALL the leaves of except maybe 2 or 3 " the plant is about 4 foot tall" my question is can i dig it up and plant it closer to the house where i can manage the grasshoppers? its still alive and the inside of the vines is still green. any advice how to do this?

Sure, you can move it. Just dig all around it and re-plant it where you like it.
