Hi Garnet, what is the quick-bin. I've been seeing that term lately but wonder what it is, and how its set up.

I have developed a real like of pawing through the bin, and Im trying a new setup.

My larger plastic tote is for harder foods, radishes, carrot peel, melon rind, pieces of apple... and a second smaller bin is for easy-to-rot foods like tea, ome of the coffee, bread, tomatoes....

Im hoping Ill be able to harvest the quick bin more often than the larger bin. I should post a pic of my castings sifter- Ill use them chunky for myself, but for gifts (or if I want to look at the Pseudoscorpions!) I sift.

My bedding is shredder paper and rotted straw now.
