Major Wheeler Honeysuckle Vine

I'm looking to replace my Gold Flame honeysuckle vine with one that is more resistant to powdery mildew. I've heard that 'Major Wheeler' is more resistant. I'm not sure about the height though, as I would like a vine that grows at least 10 ft tall, 12 ft would be better. It's in an ideal location with plenty of sun and just the right amount of moisture.

I think you made a good choice with Major Wheeler. It has everything you are looking for, disease resistant, about 10 long, bright red blooms all summer long. A magnet for hummingbirds as a bonus. It's happy to either climb or sprawl. You can't go wrong with this one!
