they will it's basically coconut husk thats it. it's not toxic to them but majority of the time it's all compressed and fine so i doubt they will eat much of it if not any as it maybe too small for them. either way it's good to have weather they eat it or not. it retains moisture and it will compost naturally as well. i use the actual husks in my compost and it composted just fine. i often use it as mulch as well.

Okay, thank you Celbrise. I went and sifted through the bin today, and noticed what looked like the husks' stands sprinkled throughout. I think they're moving it around as well.
