The flower looks a lot like that but the leaves are very cut kind of like a marigold but a maple shape. Very strange. I have taken pictures but have not uploaded yet.

Maybe it's some sort of bindweed. The one in my pic is a Texas bindweed (Convolvulus equitans, per Ron). I'd bet that he can ID it when you upload a pic.
