Latest Harvest plus Needed Advice!

My recent harvest on my triple stacked plastic produced maybe my best and easiest harvest. I had maybe less than 50 worms - .6oz slightly over 1/2 oz in weight and the harvest moist yet crumbly.

In the beginning as I was concerned about air circulation I made windows covered with a fiber screening, then later on put in 1/4" hardware cloth on the bottom of each to replicate a "worm factory" which I also have. The problem now as these are inside is Im having a good bit of gnat investation. Now Im thinking of covering the windows and using a burlap bag as a top covering. I have this whole setup elevated on 1" slats for air flow , Im wondering if I should also remove the slats as the gap would allow for entry.

Will this help? Im open to any better suggestions that might help my problem.
