I hope I've spelled that right. Anyway, a nonfragrant jasmine with little pink flowers loves my garden... loves it just too darned much actually, and needs restraining. How much pruning can this thing handle? It started out as just a tiny plant about 3 years ago and now it's grown all down the length of a wall and around the corner, up an arch and has engulfed a forsythia. In a windstorm yesterday the arch fell down and broke, so today I had to cut the jasmine free of the broken arch and I uncovered my poor forsythia (which had totally disappeared from view) while I was at it. But I'm thinking that a really hard pruning would be good if the plant can take it. Do you think it can?
