misawc, definately wait till it turns brown, otherwise the seeds turn black and aren't any good. A neat thing to do is wait till they are really big, and then cut the pod off with a lot of stem attatched, then put in a glass of water like roses. Sit on a sunny window where thy will dry naturely, and tun out to be really nice white ,dry seeds. :) Arum
