Hi, I got a specimen of this wisteria on sale. Its very beautiful and I love the flowers. I do grow Chinese wisteria, and know how potentially thuggish it can be. With my Amethyst Falls, I was thinking of growing it on a slightly decrepit stockade-style fence, but am concerned it will be too vigorous and might pull the fence down. Any advice? Does it do well trained to a tree-stlye "standard"?
