It is a tender tropical perennial, and might adjust to being frozen back to the roots if it had gone through an entire growing season to get established in the ground, With anything frost tender this late in the year, it is probably best to wait until frost season is over before planting out. With enough bright light and warm enough conditions, this might continue to bloom indoors/greenhoused, but watch for spider mites and the usual assortment of insects.

This is a great butterfly vine and it roots easy in just water everyone who likes butterflys and humingbirds needs this vine blooms all year for me here .I love this vine and couldnt say enought good about it.Butterflys love this vine as much as my mexican sunflowers.
