I would be careful putting them into a bin. Most have a plastic component that WON'T compost. And besides that, you don't know about the chemicals in them.

Assuming they are made of natural materials (cotton, plant fiber, etc) and what kinds of cleaners and scents are used they may be OK but may not be ideal bedding material on their own so I wouldn't want the bin material to be composed of a large percentage of baby wipes. Better in a worm bin than in landfill though. I'd want to try a few in a corner and monitor for a while to see if it has any affect on the worms before going full speed. Don't they make flushable ones now? These may break down faster in a worm bin.

I have tried the Sam's Club brand of baby wipes in my bin, and they don't break down.

i think i may try sticking one in the corner as Rom suggested; i agree rather in a bin than landfill. i keep thinking that maybe a dash of that weird fake stuff will break because of the very successful dryer lint experiment over at redwormcomposting.com. i think that dryer lint came from various natural and synthetic clothes. i also agree, i would never use it as the main bedding.
