Sunrise serenade usually makes tons and tons of seeds. A small round pod will form where the flower falls off, if the flower was pollinated.
Keep an eye on where the flower was and you should see pods form.

Linda - The shredded flowers can sometimes have reduced pollination due to the fact that the usual 'landing pad' for the bees has been reduced making it more difficult for the bees to land on the flowers and the more open structure of the shredded flower resultsa in a lesser tendency of the bees or stamens to brush up against the stigma...

Shortly after fertilization the pedicel (the stem of the flower and the seedpod) will reflex (bend ) to face the ground...

Look at the pedicels and if they are pointing towards the ground,like in the photo link I am adding,then the seeds are in the process of developing...

Thanks so much for your answers!! That's just it...there is NO seedpod. The flowers just dry up and drop off, leaving nothing but a bare stem. I have a 'Grandpa Otts' which is inter-twined and is producing TONS of seeds. So, it looks like the 'Sunrise Serenade' was not pollinated then! I am truly heartbroken, I was really looking forward to seeds that I could plant again next year! (sigh) I had never seen a MG like this before. Prior to this...I had only seen the 'Heavenly Blue', 'Grandpa Otts' and a single pink I had. I still love the singles of course but truly am newly infatuated with this 'Sunrise Serenade'!!!!

Sunrise Serenade is one of my few shredded MG's that does produce loads of seed pods. My Gypsy Bride produces lots of seeds as well but my others produce very few and need to be hand pollinated.
