pour it back on the bed or pour it on the garden, it's not "fertilizer", but a well managed bin shouldn't have any real quantity of liquid leaching out - you're feeding too much wet material, watering the bin excessively, or don't have good bedding

Yeah, Squeeze is right. Leachate is simply excess water. The holes in the bottom of your bin should be used to detect any leakage so you can stop it.

Commercial bin makers put that spigot at the bottom to make it look "professional", I guess.

A drop or two of leakage is acceptable.

The first bin that I set up had liquid coming out of the bottom too. I lined the catch basin with newspaper and then composted that.
