Hi lombriz2008! If you want to know the physical differences between two such different worms.

1. Efs are small avg 1.5-2.5 inchs long and Africans average less than 6 inches long.
2. Efs are red with yellow between segments Africans are maroon with brown irridesence.
3 Efs clitellum (collar)well defined 1/3 down body 26-30 segment. Africans close to anterior 7-9 segment not so well defined.

These are the very obvious differences.

Africans are also noted for their wild wiggling. Much more than efs. They sometimes will even break into two parts they wiggle so much. Should have called them wild wigglers instead of Africans.
