They will love the chocolate and caramel. The crust will get moldy before the worms will eat it. It may take a couple of weeks for it to break down. I don't know about the pecans.

Salt would be my only concern. But maybe there is not enough of it to be a big concern. I have some old chocolate, really old, I might feed during the winter doldrums, after the last pumpkin is long gone and before harvesting castings for spring planting. Maybe chocolate has salt too.

Come now folks, the salt content in the pie is proably about 1/4 - 1/2 teaspoon for the whole thing. Why not put some of it mixed with some bedding into the worm bed? If they like it. add the rest. If not, throw it in the outdoor bin. Remember, if you are willing to eat it, and it does not contain meat, there is no reason NOT to compost it. After all, it is only a little bit. It's not like you are planning to add this time and time again, or adding a ton of this stuff to the bin. I would add it and not worry - just be sure to cover it up.

Well, after about a week, I removed the chunk of chocolate pie. The worms wanted no part of it!

Well, that just goes to prove that the size of the worm's brain is actually related to their intelligence. I would have been all over that! Their loss is your pile's gain!
