Boy I think I see an opportunity on both sides, worms for other bins (fishing maybe - I just can't do that) and flightless fruit flies for pet food and vermicomposting.

New trend: entocomposting..

I've even seen the same websites selling flies selling springtails.

I love that you can't bring yourself to give the worms to fishermen...I can't either. My dad actually lives on the Colorado River, and after having a couple drinks, offered to make him a worm bin....I haven't been able to bring myself to it yet.

Oh and about drinking, I have a fruitfly eyeing my glass of wine now. I do wish I could get rid of them.

Yeah but I would feel no grief in feeding the fruitflies to my son's Betta.

Go figure. Not very Buddhist of me.
