I wondered if you did this and how it worked because I am thinking of doing the some thing. We are building a house in the woods in Southeastern Ohio. There are already violets growing there in clumps but after the house is built I would like to have violets instead of grass. I think some violets spread better than others so if you did it I wondered what kind you used.

i dig up the plants and move them to where i want instead of trying to grow them from seed
