All my worms got for Christmass was an old cold tater. But they all were happy.

It's a chilly 76 here in Hawaii! Ho Ho Ho!!

For Christmas my worms discovered what COLD was! Furnace went out. LOL oh and they got some left over stir-fry. so christmasy!

My worms got banana peelings from several bunches. They also got tea bags, coffee grounds, regular table scraps and of course their favorite rabbit droppings.

oooh rabbit droppings are my favorite xmas treat too! ;)

we had a mild day in nyc so i aired out the bin outside a little for xmas. then gave them some strawberry tops, chinese broccoli scraps, and lots of tea leaves.

do any of you worry when you dig in the bin and can't find too many worms? since my sour crop scenario, i have been keeping the bin in perfect conditions (minus a BSF population...sigh). when i was airing out the bin, turning the wetter (not too wet!) area on the bottom with my "worm fork," i only saw a few.

i assume they're in there...but...i'd like them to come and say HI!

shesoldier: You're still chasing your wormies! Sometimes I dig around and get sad because I don't see any/much and then I'll find the mother lode! Yours must be hiding from you!!

nell...hahah yes, i am still chasing them. i assume they are not dying off because the bin is in dream conditions, minus the tiny soldier flies. i wonder if they are out-eating my worms.

it's true, i just dig around the edges. my hope is that the worm troop is hanging out somewhere in the middle. after all, i bought that huge mother lode just a month or so ago...

augh! i think too much about the worms!
