Finally getting flowers

I haven't posted for quite a while but I moved to a new home last Nov. I put my viola jooi (which were in pots due to me always being in an apt) in the breezeway to spend the winter, figuring maybe the temps would stay at least 10 degrees warmer than outside. Guess what. For the first time the plants survived the winter and I got masses of pink violets this spring. My grandparents owned this house and she has a bed of very dark purple violets in a southeast nook of the house (outside) and I am thinking of putting these along side. Of course I got masses of seedlings again. That is the only reason I still have these is their willingness to seed and propogate profusely. I also had my viola koreana (that korean varigated violet) survive as well and got 2 very tiny blooms. ;o)))
