Is this why I've seen so few finches this winter?

it's not bird flu is it?

don't mean to panic you but most of the world is losing birds by the thousands if not millions

After reading this post, I brought in all of my bird feeders and ran them through the dishwasher on extra high heat with bleach three times.

BTW, I didn't have anything else in the dishwasher except the bird feeders.

I sure hope that we don't see any problems down here.
