I've seen flying squirrels completely take over one of those purple martin condominiums! What a riot.

You are so lucky! I have never seen a flying squirrel in my life although I have heard there are a few around here.

The other year when cleaning nesting boxes, one of them
jumped on my head. Another one I have seen in the owl house, think they had babies in there, the house was filled
with soft material, mostly moss,...so I let them be.
