This is what I have used before

Here's the recipe:

Mix 1 cup of milk with 9 cups of water.
Put the solution in a sprayer and spray the entire plant including the undersides of the leaves.
Do this twice a week and your powdery mildew problem should disappear.

Mildew is the tuffest fungus. Doesn't seem to respond to traditional fungicides.

I have a coral honeysuckle that I believe has powdery mildew on the lower half but not on new growth. Would this concoction work on my problem also?!!

It should! Try it and let us know if it takes care of the problem.

I have read that a baking soda/water solution will work. And that adding a couple of drops of liquid soap (Ivory - it's "gentle") will help it stick to the foliage.

I used neem oil on my crepe myrtles when they had powdery mildew. It seemed to work well. It had disappeared within a week or so after I sprayed.

What would happen if you added both milk *and* baking soda (just a little of each) to a sprayer of water? Would they cancel each other out in some way or cause an unwanted chemical reaction?

Hahaha, I don't know what would happen, too bad we don't have weeds that get powdery mildew (I don't), you could try on those, lol
Kat is right, baking soda works real well, but I always have milk, I run out of baking soda alot, lol
