Lady bugs eat whitefly. Whitefly are related to aphids. Get to know what ladybug larve look like so you don't accidentally kill them. Wasps and lacewings eat them too.

Sticky traps are a problem with lizards :( if they are stationary. Stirring up the whiteflies and catching them by swinging through the clouds like a tennis racket a bit each day would catch a lot without catching lizards too.

I also read they need a host plant to thrive and breed. The number one host plant is Privet. I've read that taking out Privet would help a lot. PJ

Oh, thanks for that. I'm surprised I don't see ladybugs around them because they show up everywhere there are aphids and I just let those be because eventually the aphids go away. I've seen the ladybug larva and took some macro photos last year of one eating aphids. (My kinda fun?) I normally just let all bugs duke it out, but this year it just seems like the whiteflies are everywhere. Last summer I got rid of all the remaining privets that were in the backyard, but I wonder if their larvae survived in the soil? I guess I gotta do some research on whitefly ;)

The bug of the lady will always feast upon the aphid primarily and then forage for other sources of nutrition after the aphids are exasperated. That is my understanding of their eating habits.
