Unknown Shrub

Wondering if anyone can identify this shrub. It is growing in an open meadow area of our property. Either someone planted it there before we bought the land, or it is a native of some kind. The pink/orange things are some kind of fruit, not flowers. The flowers come in spring, tiny and cream colored.

Looks to me like a Euonymus though I can't venture a guess as to which one.

I would lean toward the European variety, somewhat invasive, and not a native. Euonymus europaeus. In the link below click on the pictures on the left (ignore what's on the right-its not this plant).

Yes, tj, and kms, I'm sure it's Euonymus europaeus, after browsing the link you provided. I'm not too worried about it becoming invasive yet, since there's only one. It sure is hardy - one of the last shrubs to shed its leaves in fall.
