Would anyone like horse manure?

We have two piles that we are getting rid of this weekend....very large piles. The inside should be very nice fertilizer, the piles had been turned a couple of times, and have been there for a couple of years. I am in the Madison area (Verona,) and I would be happy to put some aside, or have you come pick some up. I don't want anything for it....just want to let someone take some if it is of use to them.

I would love some, but Madison is a bit far. There's nothing like HM to get your compost fired up.

This sounds tempting. I live in Evansville and I have a trailer. When could I pick some up? My garden is starting to get excited!

I think Saturday, perhaps in the afternoon, would be best. I know it's an extra trip, but if it wasn't convenient for you at that time, if you left the trailer here, we could dump some in for you. I'm saving some, my mom is getting some, the tree farmer down the road, and we're going to spread it on the back pasture where we are going to reseed. Hi, if anybody needs some horse manure in the Racine/Milwaukee area, there is a horse farm really near me and I could give you directions. It is near the 7 Mile Fair. If you don't know where that is, then it is too far away for you. :-) Gas is so much these days, hey?
