looking for morels

I used to be able to find some each Spring, in various places; mostly in or around old apple trees, or old elms.

Now, so many of my hunting spots are filled with new sub-divisions and new homes.

Will the most delicious 'shroom in the world go the way of so many old treasures?

The butter-fried morel has a taste like toasted nuts. Unlike anything you can buy in a store.

I hope someone out there will cultivate it and keep this

wondrous plant alive.
