Releasing this from hanging at the top.

I didn't go either. I made the mistake of going to a garden center to pick up one thing and ended up spending too much money and decided to pass.

I wonder how many people at the fair got soaked to the shorts from the all the downpours we had over the weekend.

i WAS going to go....had tickets and everything...

then at the last minute my sister brought me a 'huge' load of 'nice black ground'...

so we stayed home and got that off the truck for my new 'hosta bed extentions'...

had to tarp it a couple of times but got the job done....what a 'mucky' job it was too...

Sadly, I wasn't able to make it up there this year. I went last year, and was very impressed. Had a great time with a few of my sisters who live in Green Bay. Just couldn't find the time to fit the almost three hour drive, into my schedule.

I did make it out to a really nice plant sale in Bristol, WI, though - about 20 minutes from where I live. It was a sale for all native Wisconsin plants. Knowing now that that one, too, will always be held on the first Saturday in June (same time as the GB Botanical) I will need to make a decision.....
