I planted asparagus crowns in late March and it's now early June and there is no sign of anything poking up through the ground. I really want to start asparagus this year. Should i purchase more crowns or plants and put them in the ground now? Or should i give the crowns more time? It was a cold spring, but now is really warming up in the Milwaukee area.
